Increased consumption of lubricating oil: During normal operation, the consumption of lubricating oil increases, mainly due to the increased wear of the cylinder and piston assembly, resulting in an increase in the amount of oil entering the combustion chamber and causing blue smoke from the exhaust pipe.
3. Increased diesel consumption: The increase in diesel consumption is related to various factors, such as excessive adjustment of the fuel injection pump's sub pump oil volume, oil leakage from the fuel injector, poor cooling effect, poor sealing of the intake and exhaust valves, and low cylinder pressure.
4. Decrease in cylinder pressure: The decrease in cylinder pressure indicates an increase in the degree of leakage in the cylinder liner, piston components, intake and exhaust valves, and valve seats.
5. Decrease in oil pressure: The decrease in oil pressure can indicate the wear of bearings. The lower the pressure, the greater the wear clearance of bearings.
6. Increased impurities in engine oil: An increase in impurities in engine oil indicates an increase in the wear of lubricating components, and the wear rate of moving parts can be determined by testing the content of various elements in the lubricating oil.
7. Cooling system issues: If the water temperature in the cooling system is too high (over 100 ℃), it indicates that the scale in the cooling water chamber is too thick or that the cooling system components (such as thermostats, water pumps, fans) are inefficient or malfunctioning.
8. Exhaust system issue: The color and thickness of the carbon buildup at the exhaust port can reflect the operating conditions of the diesel generator. If the carbon buildup layer is thick and the color is dark, it may indicate that the operating temperature is too low or the fuel injection is too late.
