Change the engine oil
Due to the variety and specifications of engine oil, there are two methods for changing the oil used:
1. If there are no clear requirements for engine oil in the diesel engine manual or no distinction between "winter" and "summer", the engine oil should be drained while it is still hot after the diesel unit is heated or the operation is completed, and the water temperature is around 80 degrees Celsius. After not less than 24 hours of sedimentation, it should be refilled for use. The precipitated oil base should be poured out, and new oil should be added when the oil level is insufficient.
2. If there is a distinction between winter and summer engine oil in the diesel engine manual, summer engine oil should be replaced and used.
Sanitary cleaning
Perform a thorough cleaning of the diesel generator. Clean up dirt, debris, and grease, and thoroughly wash the machine's face once. During the cleaning process, loose nuts, rivets, and surface defects can be found and should be replaced and repaired in a timely manner.
Clean the three filters and three nets
Air filter, diesel filter, and oil filter are commonly known as three filters. The main points to note when cleaning the three filters are:
1. The three filters are paper filter elements. Except for the air filter element that can be used after cleaning, it is best to replace it with a new one.
2. Metal filters and filter elements can only be cleaned with clean oil, brushes, or air cylinders. Use gas to blow out dirt and do not burn them. The "three nets" refer to the filter screens of the diesel filling port, oil filling port, and exhaust gas outlet, which should be thoroughly cleaned to ensure smooth entry and exit.
